Description

Snail slime can normalize sebum secretion by stimulating cell turnover. This means it has a sebum regulating action. In addition, it keeps the skin protected and elastic thanks to its nurturing and regenerating substances. The mucopolysaccharide, commonly named “slime”, is the natural defense mechanism that the snail provides to defend its skin from damages provoked by continuously sliding on uneven and rough surfaces. Thanks to its film-forming and moisturizing power, the mucus isolates the snail’s foot from the ground by limiting the risk of excoriation, and it moisturizes it by regenerating any possible abrasion.
